We are seeking an architectural designer who is passionate about design, has a solid foundation in managing and overseeing residential architectural designs, and is adept at turning ideas into reality. JOB DESCRIPTION

The Architectural Designer / Project manager will be an essential member of our design team, responsible for managing several residential projects, including the production of detailed technical drawings and plans. This role requires familiarity with decorative resources, furniture manufacturers, fabric showrooms, and designer workrooms. It is a blend of creativity and precision, ensuring all designs not only meet our high standards but also comply with relevant regulations and codes. The successful candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with architects, engineers, and designers to bring our clients' visions to life.

• Base 75k plus, commensurate with experience

• PTO

• Location: Flexible, can be On-premises / Hybrid / Remote BUT MUST live locally for site visits

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Generate detailed CAD drawings for residential projects, covering all phases from concept studies to detailed construction documents.

• Collaborate with the design team to refine and review drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with building regulations.

• Ensuring designs are both practical and aesthetically pleasing.

• Maintaining open lines of communication and ensuring client satisfaction through the project lifecycle.

• Provide existing conditions survey to be done onsite (must live locally).

• Communicate on behalf of the owner with the contractor and the client when appropriate.

• Familiar with Millwork, details, finished materials, and lighting.

REQUIREMENTS

• Either Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Architectural Design or Interior Design, OR work experience 3+ years

• 2-5 years of experience in CAD drafting.

• Strong portfolio showcasing residential design work.

• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

• Strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple projects and maintain tight deadlines.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, capable of working well with engaged clients - Self-motivated, and able to work independently within a dynamic team environment

• Quick learner, flexible, and able to receive and learn from feedback positively.
