Interior Design Student Professional Development Resources

WHY JOIN

The goal of the IIDA NE Student Affairs committee is to make a lasting impact on the career trajectory of current interior design students and recent graduates. Our committee strives to share what we wish someone had shared with us when we were still in school – advice and perspective on early career opportunities and decision points.  Through our programs, our committee aims to give students perspective on early career choices and networking opportunities afforded through involvement with IIDA NE.

City Centers are comprised of IIDA members from particular cities and geographic regions. These IIDA members come together to provide programs, networking, advocacy, community involvement, public relations and communications of specific interest to the Chapter and community members within each City Center.

Campus Centers are design-oriented clubs with at least 7 to 10 IIDA Student Members that provide an environment for the development and exchange of knowledge among students, educators, administration and local design professionals.

Schools with Accredited Design Programs: if you are enrolled in one of our local design programs you can register to become a stucent member. Student Membership provides opportunities to network and connect with other design students and successful professionals in the Interior Design Community
