JOB DESCRIPTION
The Strategic Planner plays a critical role in Citizens property strategy to deliver corporate facilities that optimize our colleague’s workplace experience.
Based at our state of the art campus in Johnston, RI, this entry-mid level role will work closely with our business leaders to uncover property needs and assist in the development of programs that align the bank’s goals with that of the enterprise wide workplace guidelines.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but are not limited to)
Building meaningful relationships with key business partners and acting as the single point of contact for real estate needs.
Developing workplace programs, conceptual designs and test fit plans through the use of AutoCAD and CAFM software
Support Project Team Lead, Project Manager and business lines by actively managing restack activities, furniture reconfigurations, and construction requests through gathering and disseminating accurate data and information
Assisting with space audits to verify employee locations, furniture, and as-builts are accurately noted on floor plans
Working with clients to capture and report space demands and headcount growth
Institute, educate, and enforce work-space policies and procedures along with escalating client requested exceptions to policy.
REQUIREMENTS
1 or more years of planning experience in a corporate office environment.
Experience producing test fit / block plans.
Experience with Computer Assisted Facility Management (CAFM) system (Eptura or similar) and Computer-Aided Design (AutoCAD) to effectively manage and organize headcount data, facility space plans, move management, employee location data, product test fits/block plans etc.
Proven interpersonal and communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office product suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
Sound understanding of corporate interior design standards, construction progresses, and how they impact and support the business needs.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drawing/design programs.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design/Architecture equivalent preferredHours & Work Schedule: Hours per Week: 40, Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:30 AM-5:30 PM
