JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a highly skilled and creative Interior Designer to join our team! You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing innovative interior design concepts for a wide range of projects, from commercial, multifamily, and Industrial spaces. If you have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for design, we want to hear from you!

Established in 1993, Newbury Design Associates creates building environments for a diverse client base including corporations, property developers, and contractors throughout the New England area. Our focus is to simplify the design and construction process for our clients through a collaborative design process and exemplary service with a team of experienced, dedicated, and talented architectural and interior design professionals.
REQUIREMENTS
Coordinate with principals and architectural team
Collaborate with clients to understand their design preferences, goals, and
requirementsConduct site analyses and space assessments to determine design potential
Existing Conditions investigation measurement and documentation
Develop and present comprehensive design concepts, including mood boards, color schemes, and materials
Create 2D and 3D designs using software such as AutoCAD and Revit
Fluent knowledge of adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office suite
Select and specify materials, finishes, and furniture
Provide support and documentation services for projects, spanning beyond interior design
Construction Documentation
Reviews shop drawings as they relate to interior design
Ability to adapt to changes in tasks or direction
Stay up to date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to work independently and in a team setting
Ability to manage workflows across multiple projects and meet deadlines
QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of experience in interior design
Professional certification (NCIDQ) or eligibility
Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.)
Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills
Portfolio showcasing your design work and expertise
Knowledge of building codes and accessibility standards
Maintain finishes and samples library
BENEFITS
Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000
Hybrid Position: 3 days a week in office 2 days remote.
Fifteen (15) paid vacation days per year
