JOB DESCRIPTION
We are currently seeking someone with experience in both Sales and Designing to join us at our showroom located in Brookline, MA where we offer high-end Spanish Kitchens from DOCA. We are looking for a Sales Manager/Designer that can help us grow our business, team and help clients design their dream Kitchens.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As Sales Manager/Designer you will be charged with growing the business through bringing new clients into the showroom, as well as, helping these clients design their Kitchens, Baths, Wardrobes, or any other spaces they may want.
Contact and work with new customers to discuss their needs and explain how we can meet/exceed their needs.
Generate New leads through Architects and Designers, including over the phone, email, and in-person.
Work with clients to design their dream spaces, including layout, finishes, and appliances.
Drive the vision of the company forward by managing all aspects of the showroom, including sales, design, installation, social media, marketing, business development, overhead, employees, etc.
Help customers select products based on needs and product specifications.
Prepare sales contracts and submit orders for processing
Review/oversee all orders from all employees prior to purchase (quality control).
Oversee installation to ensure everything is up to the customers standards.
Manage and schedule all employees in the field and showroom to ensure efficient and proper installation.
Follow up with customers after installation to answer any questions or concerns.
Keep management informed through activity and results reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual sales analyses.
Be able to assist designers/sales associates with the design process, budgeting, installation, etc.
REQUIREMENTS
Min 5-7 years in Showroom/Sales Management (Kitchen Showroom/Sales is preferred).
Min 5-7 years in Designer, preferably in Kitchen/Bath Showroom.
Must be local.
Must have knowledge of the metric system and European kitchens and design.
Must be able to generate leads as well as follow up any leads provided.
Must possess excellent communication skills and demonstrate a high level of diplomacy when dealing with customers, vendors, and staff.
Experience with AutoCAD is preferred.
Experience with outside designers is preferred.
Ability to manage and run Social Media platforms is a plus.
Ability to sell kitchens and manage a team at the same time.
Highly motivated, creative, enthusiastic and has great problem-solving skills.
Able to multi-task, be flexible and thrive under tight deadlines
Able to work well independently, anticipate questions and develop solutions.
Must be extremely organized and detail oriented.
Exercise discretion with confidential client and business information.
Must be able to manage multiple employees in multiple roles.
