IIDA NE has established this scholarship opportunity to provide recognition and to reward outstanding Interior Design students in the New England region. It is intended for a student working towards a degree/certificate in Interior Design, or Interior Architecture, based on the entry requirements. The goal is to encourage creative thinking, exciting ideas, and techniques in the design and furnishings of interior spaces.
The winner will be announced at and will also receive a complimentary ticket to the 21st Annual Croquet Tournament on Thursday, August 8, 2024!
This year, we are thrilled to offer a $1,000 scholarship to one individual!
Application Timeline
July 12, 2024, End of Day: Application & Recommendation Deadline
July 18, 2024: All applicants contacted with the final decision
August 8, 2024: 21st Annual Croquet Tournament
Entry Requirements
- Completed scholarship application (button to the right)
- Must be currently enrolled in a New England school OR reside within the New England region
- Must submit a work/project sample
- Two written recommendations using this recommendation form
- A copy of your 2024-2025 class schedule
- IIDA Membership is not a requirement
Application Review Criteria
Applications will be reviewed by a Committee of practicing Interior Design professionals within the New England region. For the purposes of this review, IIDA NE will hide all applicant names, school affiliations, and contact information to ensure an equal and unbiased review process. The decision of the Committee is final.
