RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Demonstrates understanding of architectural design process on integrated interiors and standalone interior projects.

  • Collaborates with team members and colleagues to promote an inter-disciplinary design approach and philosophy.

  • Facilitates interior design efforts and project teams including design direction and client engagement.

  • Manage deadlines and deliverables, establish project schedules to prioritize tasks.

  • Play a pivotal role in projects that include programming client needs, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, space planning and construction documentation.

  • Foster a culture of mentorship, coaching and guiding team members.

  • Liaison with clients, external consultants, product representatives, furniture dealers, and fabricators.

  • Participates in marketing efforts and may lead design presentations to prospective clients.

  • Research materials and concepts to advise and support design team on technical issues influencing interior design concept development.

  • Participate in the selection and presentation of furniture, furniture systems, fabrics, equipment (FF&E), finish palettes, and lighting.

  • Generate finish plans, specifications, and material

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in interior design or related field from an accredited school

  • 8-11 years of interior design experience

  • Strong leadership, communication, and relationship management skills

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

  • Proficient in REVIT, Adobe Suite, MS Office

  • Knowledge of furniture, finishes, materials, color selections, and specifications

  • LEED accreditation, preferred

  • NCIDQ accreditation, preferred
