RESPONSIBILITIES
Demonstrates understanding of architectural design process on integrated interiors and standalone interior projects.
Collaborates with team members and colleagues to promote an inter-disciplinary design approach and philosophy.
Facilitates interior design efforts and project teams including design direction and client engagement.
Manage deadlines and deliverables, establish project schedules to prioritize tasks.
Play a pivotal role in projects that include programming client needs, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, space planning and construction documentation.
Foster a culture of mentorship, coaching and guiding team members.
Liaison with clients, external consultants, product representatives, furniture dealers, and fabricators.
Participates in marketing efforts and may lead design presentations to prospective clients.
Research materials and concepts to advise and support design team on technical issues influencing interior design concept development.
Participate in the selection and presentation of furniture, furniture systems, fabrics, equipment (FF&E), finish palettes, and lighting.
Generate finish plans, specifications, and material
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in interior design or related field from an accredited school
8-11 years of interior design experience
Strong leadership, communication, and relationship management skills
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Proficient in REVIT, Adobe Suite, MS Office
Knowledge of furniture, finishes, materials, color selections, and specifications
LEED accreditation, preferred
NCIDQ accreditation, preferred
