CEU: Navigating the Current Trends of Today's Life Science and Health Science Market

Join us for our new virtual CEU, "Navigating the Current Trends of Today's Life Science and Health Science Market" being held on April 27th from 12:00 to 1:00pm. Learn from three talented designers with a wealth of Life Science and Health Science Experience. Kristine Dudley, Becky Boyer and Eleana Lynch will guide us through the Life Science and Health Science landscape. Specifically, they will discuss what makes life science and health science design unique in our industry - the specific needs of the occupants and how varying lab work affects the design, and highlight the current trends in the market - how to create a connection between the lab and workspace, anticipate growth and increased density, the role flexibility plays, executing fast timelines... and more! 1 IDCEC is available for this.

Following the presentation there will be a panel discussion for attendees to ask the presenters questions and provide comments. Now, meet our speakers!

Becky Boyer

As OTJ’s Director of Life Sciences, Becky engages project stakeholders in a collaborative dialogue to successfully develop scientific environments that propel innovation and advance the realization of her client’s mission. Becky leverages in-depth knowledge of technical requirements reshaping the Life Sciences industry workplace to integrate laboratory spaces, infrastructure, technology, and equipment considerations into holistic solutions that maximizes the potential of the built environment.

Kristine Dudley

As a senior interior designer with the Boston studio of Perkins&Will, Kristine’s work has had a particular emphasis on Life Science environments for the past decade. She is involved in design decisions through all phases of the project, maintaining a focus not only on the cohesion of workplace and laboratory design, but also the environmental impact of each decision. With her creative vision and in-depth knowledge of the Life Science market, Kristine creates efficient spaces that respect the environment, the context of the building, and the unique goals of each client. With a wide variety of project types under her belt, Kristine believes that a successful project happens in two parts: when you help the client understand their vision, and when they see this vision being realized in the built space.
