Earth Day Community Engagement Event

  • Auerfarm 158 Auer Farm Road Bloomfield, CT, 06002 United States (map)

Earth Day is a chance to reflect on how humanity has been treating our planet, and let’s face it we all can be doing more to work together on solutions to help repair the damage that’s been done to our fragile home. This Earth Day let's come together as a design community and partner with Auerfarm in Bloomfield, CT, for a special Community Engagement volunteer event.

Any and all design community members and IIDA members are invited to work together to support local agriculture and promote sustainability by planting new crops, preparing garden beds, and cleaning up the surrounding areas. Volunteers will have the opportunity to learn about the importance of reducing food waste and using eco-friendly practices in their daily lives. Sign up today so you can make the event a great success, with enthusiastic volunteers making a positive impact on the environment and the local community.
