Our holiday raffle is always fantastic way to raise funds for our event beneficiary, Riverzedge Arts. This year we have received a generous donation from RI based Lumetta of 5 drum pendant light fixtures (each valued at $1000) to be raffled off to benefit Riverzedge. These fixtures will just be 5 of the many amazing raffle items!
Raffle tickets are sold at the event and you must be present to win.
If interested in donating a raffle prize, please contact Kristen Fagan at email@example.com
A portion of the proceeds will benefit Riverzedge Arts.
Launched in 2002, Riverzedge is built on the philosophy that art is a powerful force for social change. Nationally award winning youth programs provide academic enrichment, jobs training, 21st Century skills building, and alternative routes to diploma attainment to teens, and high-end experiential arts learning to K-12 youth throughout the state.
Riverzedge Arts formed out of the vision of artists and community leaders concerned about patterns of violence among disaffected youth in Woonsocket, RI, a small city with a high concentration of under resourced families and acute lack of access to opportunity. Today, five core programs fulfill our mission to “help individuals and communities reach their full potential through art, design, and creative problem-solving.” We collaborate to realize the goals and aspirations of others. We serve youth, residents and artists in ways that impact area outcomes. “Place” is a central framework and object of service through which we activate originality, excellence and impact in our programs, public art and community building ventures.
Why the extra $2?
One Bill at a Time is a joint campaign of IIDA New England and ASID New England to raise awareness and resources for Interior Design Advocacy in the New England Region. By adding two dollars to each event hosted by IIDA NE and ASID NE, one for each piece of active legislation, we remind ourselves that advancing our profession is the core mission of our Organizations**.
*At the conclusion of each calendar year, all funds raised will be distributed to New England states with active advocacy initiatives in direct proportion to the percent of Chapter membership residing in each state.
*We dedicate this campaign to the individuals that achieved interior design legislation in New England states and paved the way for the future of our profession, One Bill at a Time.
