One Thousand Words – Translating Design Through Imagery

“One Thousand Words, Finding Inspiration, Tapping into Creative Thought, and the Ability to Translate Design Through Imagery.”

In today’s world, photographs are worth 10,000 clicks.  A photograph should inspire, influence, awaken, educate, and delight the visual senses.  With social media on the rise and the need to have the best photograph for your brand and your marketing portfolio, you can’t afford to miss this lecture. Plus, your Instagram account will love you!

Architectural photographer, Richard Cadan, joins RDI New England for a special lecture discussing how he captures retail and hospitality environments.  Richard’s experience has given him the ability to capture the brand essence of the design he’s shooting.  His lecture will include finding an editorial voice in your photographs, taking photos that make a statement, photography best practices when on a budget, the importance of looking through the viewfinder, and understanding the challenges of photographing retail and hospitality environments. Richard will also showcase some recent projects from his portfolio, including Boston’s recently opened Sephora on Newbury Street and one of Downtown Crossings’ hottest new restaurants Ruka Restobar.

Light bites, with wine and beer will be enjoyed.

For our local IIDA community, we welcome you to join us for this special event at the RDI member price.  We look forward to meeting you!
