Open to Rhode Island Residents studying Nationally or Internationally
To provide recognition and to reward outstanding Interior Design students and to encourage creative thinking, exciting ideas and techniques in the design and furnishings of interior spaces IIDA Providence City Center Chapter is proud to offer this scholarship to any Rhode Island Junior or Senior working toward a Bachelor degree in Interior Design.

Third Place $250.00

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Entrant must be a student currently enrolled in an accredited Interior Design program entering their junior year or above in a Bachelor Program. Submitted project must be a school project not worked or internship related.

JUDGING CRITERIA
Submissions will be judged for appropriateness of the design solution, as well as the creativeness in problem solving and material selection. The jury consists of practicing Interior Designers in Rhode Island. The jury reserves the right not to select a winner from the entries if none of the entries meet the minimum criteria. The decision of the jury is final.

AWARDS
The winning projects will be announced at the IIDA NE annual award dinner event in June 2008. The results will also be published in IIDA’s printed publications and posted on IIDA New England’s website.

APPLICATION DEADLINE
Entries must be post¬marked no later than: NOVEMBER 26, 2007. Decisions will be made in December, 2007.

SUBMISSION FORMAT AND GUIDELINES
Entry Fee: none The entries must be a single Interior Architecture/Design Project presented on a CD in PowerPoint format which must include: Cover page: Name, Date, Title + 50 word abstract Photographs of the project
Completed Entry Form The winner of the award is expected to be present and available to at the announcement. IIDA reserves the right to publish all material submitted on the IIDA website and other publications. Entries will NOT be returned.
