The House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts has engrossed HB 4731-An Act Recognizing the Profession of Interior Designers to Bid on State Contracts. The bill was sent to the Senate committee on Ethics and Rules. Please take a moment to call your Representatives or e-mail them thanking them for their support!
It is imperative that everyone contact their state Senator today, seeking their assistance to get the bill to the floor for a vote. This bill can be heard and passed prior to the end of the legislative session, which is July 31st.
Call, then e-mail, then for good measure follow-up with another call to the office to see if they received the e-mail. We have been told that if an office receives 2 calls, the issue moves up from the pile, if they receive over 6 calls this can persuade their office to take action and be supportive.
