Immediate action is requested by July 28, 2008. The House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts has engrossed HB 4731-An Act Recognizing the Profession of Interior Designers to Bid on State Contracts. The bill was sent to the Senate committee on Ethics and Rules. Please take a moment to call your Representatives or e-mail them thanking them for their support!

There is nothing more important to the Profession of Interior Design than legislation. In the New England area two of our six states (Connecticut and Maine) already have interior design legislation. They continue to work to protect their legislation and are always in need of volunteers.
