IIDA New England President's Message

New country music is becoming quite hip. The reason it touches me is the simplicity of the lyrics how real it is. Kenny Chesney’s newly released CD has a track on it the pulls at me. Don’t Blink. It says so much in two simple words. The song is about a man turning 102 and being asked by a younger man the question, What’s important?

This can relate to all of us in our personal lives, our country, our careers and associations, with a whole bunch of great things going on in our Chapter. Exciting movement and activity in legislative issues in New Hampshire and  Massachusetts, motivated designers starting a new City Center in Stamford, CT, to new Forum events, a fashion show that has a life of it’s own, Board Retreats, new-member activities….. What’s important to you? If Interior Design means anything to you get involved… and Don’t Blink.
